HIP

This video is about Diagnostic Hip Scope - Cartilage and Labral Tear

The hip joint is a complex ball and socket joint.  The ball of the joint is the femoral head and the socket is called the acetabulum.  The joint is comprised of the bones, their cartilage coverings, the labrum and the capsule/ligaments that surround the joint.  Outside of the joint are the numerous tendons and muscles that stabilize and power the joint.  Disorders of the hip can be severely disabling to a patient.
